Masi Modello Delle Venezie - Geo`s Friday Night Selection

Masi Rocks!

A dry white that, like the red,is also "quaffable".

"...A rich, fruity and very elegant wine, an ideal apertif...."

Thanks to Adrien who suggested the Masi`s......THANK YOU!

Delicious.

So.....my Friday night wine notwithstanding I have taken another nutritional step forward. I purchased 100% buckwheat flour and brown rice flour and have incorporated both into my diet.Add pure Canuck maple syrup for some awesome buckwheat pancakes.

Who knew? I have been a casual green tea fan for several years but Gerard Walsh mentioned how his brother dropped lots of weight and his only lifestyle change was his switch to green tea. So I did some research and it seems men who drank a "X" amount of green tea daily DID realize a substantial drop in body fat, along with all the other benefits associated with green tea.

Add to it all a bowl full of assorted nuts;walnuts, almonds, filberts and pecans(that are all surprisingly cheap)in their shells(au natural) and my switch to lesser amounts of breads consisting of 100% grains, primarily ryes and pumpernickles I`m feeling prime.

Club AGM and Customer Appreciation Night at Bicycles Plus next week.......Spring is coming.......hehehe. Thanks to Manulife and my Wellness account I have some coin to spend on gear that keeps me happy, healthy and productive. Thanks in advance to Barry for hosting a great night of friendship, retail shopping, food, drink and entertainment.

Hoorah! My man Jens Voigt(CSC)is in second place in the Tour of California behind Levi Leiphemier(Discovery) who is showing some real good early season form.

See ya!

Geo - that's funny... I've only tried Masi's reds and never their whites. I'm glad to know you liked this week's selection - I'll have to check it out myself.

See you Tuesday at Bikes Plus!
